Rob Parisien President of Video Split Productions Inc. began his career in the early 80’s, camera operating, editing, directing, all types of entertainment, sports, and news.

In the early 80’s video assist was not widely known as a job function on-set. It was not until 1987, when Rob learned the basics of video assist, and 24-frame playback.

Rob progressed rapidly and after 10 years, had successfully worked on over 100 features, television, and commercials, operating and co-coordinating video assist and 24-frame playback.

With the beginning of non-linear “Digital” Video Assist, Rob was hired as the main unit operator on the feature “ Cats and Dogs ”, this project utilized every function of the digital element, with vfx compositing, editing.

This show was challenging and a step forward into the new digital realm. With the successful completion of this project Rob decided to form Video Split Productions Inc.

Rob has created his own type of Digital video packages, which are extremely successful to date. With more than 25 credits completed, Video Split has the resources to accommodate multiple productions, with a wide variety of support gear.
